Perch at the Pond

This plein air painting happened in the Spring , during the Augusta Missouri plein air event at my favorite pond with cattails and red winged blackbirds . The cattails foliage had its winter pale blonde color and the morning filtered sun was filled with white light reflecting  on the pond . Lovely morning to be a plein air painter
